ABOUT ME
I hail from the small town of North Bend, Nebraska. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelors in Broadcast-Journalism, in Dec. of 2013. UNL helped me craft my art of story telling and allowed me to put it in a format that I had not given consideration before. It ultimately lead me to realize I have to push myself into the uncomfortable to ever get where I want to be.
From 2011-2014 on top of being a full-time student with a part-time retail job, I was also an employee with Three Eagles Communications, which became Digity Media, and then shortly after became now which it currently is, Alpha Media, LLC. in Lincoln, Nebraska. In my time there, I started as an un-paid morning intern and was able to work my way up to become an on-air personality for two stations. I was the night dj on the top 40 station 106.3 KFRX, as well as a producer and co-host for our ESPN affiliated station, 1480 KLMS. While working at this broadcast company I had my hands involved in all six stations whether running the sound board for the country station or uploading program and content to the Rock station, I was there all hours I possibly could be in the day.
I moved to Los Angeles in Nov. of 2014. Leaving a full-time job opportunity in radio with nothing promised in LA. A couple months into LA, I started background acting and slowly building up a production contact network. I was able to land substantial jobs in production with big network programs. In two years of freelance production, I was able to work my way up from a green PA with no experience, to a go to production office coordinator with field coordinating experience. After working the best job I ever had, which involved working one-on-one with professional comedians, I decided it was time to take a more serious approach at my passion. It was time for me to pay attention to this new romance I had developed with comedy in the years being out in LA.
This affair with comedy had quickly sparked after a flop of potential roommates who were going to move out to LA with me from NE. They were "established comedians" with "connections in LA" including an interview with Funny or Die, that never happened. I hit my first open mic with one of these two guys, bombed, and fell in love. My first legitimate step in improving as a comedian was taking an improv class at The Second City. I finally had found confidence in comedy and it gave me another outlet to perform comedy. I'm now a member of Second City Alumni and perform sketch comedy through multiple groups at the historic theater.

Commercially represented by Across the Board for commercial acting and expanding my acting resume. I'm now working on commercials, sketches, theatre shows, hosting, and even student films. All while continuing to explore all possibilities navigating through comedy. Through all my endeavors, transplanting myself in LA with nothing but a loaded Buick Century has taught me a lot. I've had to learn a lot about myself as well, as a person, a worker, an entertainer, and a comedian. There's still so much I'm discovering about myself, but my enthusiasm in entertainment originates from broadcasting, storytelling, and hearing other's stories. This fuels my passion and I continue to explore what motivates others around me while I chase my dream.
